The first and second films of ‘The Kid From The Big Apple’ are by Three Production, directed by Director Jess Teong and Chief Producer Stanley Law. The film has garnered four awards at the 7th Macau International Film Festival, several awards at the 28th Malaysia Film Festival, and the 2016 AIM Chinese Music Awards Ceremony, grossing a total of RM 7million in the box office.

‘The Kid From The Big Apple 2: Before We Forget’ was nominated at the 9th Macau International Film Festival, and its novel had topped the annual sales of the bestselling book in Hung Hom, earning RM 5million in the box office.

Objectives

  • To build a social media community to increase the films’ exposure on digital platforms.
  • To promote the films and establish a more intimate relationship with the fans.

Strategy & Activations

  • Built a Facebook page with nearly 70k followers.
  • Planned creative content and online activities to interact with fans, and created a viral group that has hit more than 10 million online views to date.
